What Google Gemini Just Launched

Google just made NEET UG preparation a little less stressful and completely free. The Gemini app now lets students take full mock exams by simply saying "I want to take a NEET mock exam."

Google partnered with two of India's most trusted ed-tech platforms Physics Wallah and Careers360 to bring rigorously vetted practice content directly into the app. The tests are designed to replicate actual exam-day conditions, giving students a realistic feel for the paper's difficulty, timing, and question patterns.

This follows Google's earlier success with JEE Main (Physics Wallah & Careers360) and SAT (The Princeton Review). The NEET UG feature is currently available in English at no cost.

How to Access It

  1. Open the Gemini app on your phone or visit gemini.google.com
  2. Type or say: "I want to take a NEET mock exam"
  3. Follow the prompts to start your practice session
  4. Review your answers and performance feedback when done

Why Your NEET Score Opens Global Doors

Most students think of NEET purely as the gateway to Indian government medical colleges. But here's what many don't realise: a valid NEET score is mandatory for Indian students who want to study MBBS abroad, including in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Russia, and the UAE.

As per NMC guidelines, Indian students must clear NEET UG to be eligible for admission to foreign medical universities and to sit the FMGE/NExT licensing exam upon return.

The stronger your NEET score, the more options you unlock both domestically and internationally.

MBBS Abroad: A Real Alternative Worth Considering

Less than 10% of NEET-qualified students secure a government MBBS seat in India each year. Thousands of talented students are left without options despite clearing the exam. Studying MBBS abroad has become a well-established, NMC-recognised path for exactly these students.

Top reasons students choose MBBS abroad:

  • Lower tuition fees compared to private Indian medical colleges
  • English-medium programs at WHO-listed universities
  • No donation or capitation fees
  • Modern infrastructure with hospital-integrated clinical training
  • Recognition by NMC, WHO, and global licensing bodies

How to Make the Most of AI-Powered Prep

Gemini is a smart, zero-cost way to supplement your main study plan. Here's how to use it well:

  • Use it daily for timed practice: build exam pressure in short sessions
  • Identify weak topics: ask Gemini to explain concepts you got wrong
  • Mix with full-length mocks: from coaching institutes for a complete strategy
  • Track patterns: note which subjects trip you up (Biology, Physics, or Chemistry)
